Santa's helper (you are still in trouble ;) you know who you are!!) Christmas night dropped off a few more presents for my kids. A was delighted. So here are a couple of snapshots of his new favorite thing.

Okay my Dad called me to remind me my blog has been neglected and that I seem to be playing favorites and he is very concerned about my love for my oldest child. So hopefully I will be able to post more of him too.





My oldest has it all figured out. He informed his friend, "Next year we won't have to wait in line for so long. We will be at the first of the line because my Grandpa is Santa's helper and he will tell Santa what we want." (My Dad has been Santa's helper since I was a little girl. And he just bought a new Santa outfit this year so we are thrilled!)



I received the Shepherd and Stable Animals for my nativity. I just love this set even if everyone else may have it. I have been so excited each year to get a new piece. I can't wait until next year!!!

technical difficulties

I tell you ever since our power surge a little over a week ago, things have been freaky. Our treadmill has died, (new power supply and usb ports for the computer). Now the internet has been freaky all day and I have spent more than 2 hours with our internet provider trying to fix it and if it happens again I may have a problem with our modem. But on a good note. I couldn't surf the web so I searched through the "pile" of photos that I have on my computer. I ran into a couple that I thought well I forgot about those....







What cuties. This tub time was when my sisters were in town. This is my adorable niece and L. Check out the monkey lips...ohhh it is almost enough to make me want to rush upstairs and kiss the sleeping kid. I will refrain.









Check out this innocent face. Who me??? mess and destruction? no it must be my older siblings! Look at my face and tell me you don't believe me! (look at the trail of mess, tazmanian devil that's who is at my house these days)

snow day

I will take it! I was so pleased to get a phone call from my friend saying that there was no school today due to the impending storm. Usually I am not to happy about this but today was different. We slept in, read books, played in snow, built gingerbread houses (graham cracker actually)and watched a movie...ahh the life. The snow hasn't stopped so I am glad we have power for now and food.




check out those ears! (He wouldn't let me fuss with his hat, thank goodness he had mittens on and couldn't pull it off) He only lasted a few minutes as he didn't like to be confined in all his gear. I can't seem to get a picture of him looking at the camera... but hey at least I got something. That is more than I can say for my oldest who ran away with his friends immediately.

computer issues

Well I would love to post more pictures but currently none of our USB ports are working. The power outtage on Monday did something to our computer, even though we have a surge protector and the computer was off, it killed the power supply (had to buy a new one)and we can't figure out why the USB ports aren't working. They are getting power and the computer registers that they are working but they don't sooo.... Justin ordered some other thing to try and help it. Until then I can't load anything onto my computer or print or scan. UGH! Thank goodness for my hubby who is handy with computers.
And because I really have a hard time not posting an image...

early Christmas presents for me!!!

My hubby spoiled me!!! I have a new camera (I have been patiently/impatiently awaiting it's arrival the Canon 40d!!!) and a new wide angle lens. I am soo in love. Anyway thanks Allie for putting up with me getting used to a new camera and lens. Beautiful family!!!
