Moving SUCKS!!!

Today we woke up to the phone being turned off, of course earlier than expected. The internet will be switched off soon too. It seems like the plug on my life support is being pulled. Though I know what lies ahead, I am sad to close the doors on this chapter in my life. How do I even begin??? or end??? I thought I would have more time. I thought I would be able to play one last time. There are so many of you I didn't get to see. I am horrible at parting words because I don't say goodbye. It seems to final and I sincerely hope that it isn't the last time we see or talk to each other. I can't start crying in front of people because I won't be able to stop. My mother-in-law has provided the shoulder for me to cry on when I walk through my door and break down because I don't want to leave. I want to package up all my friends here and take them with me. Forget the moving truck full of stuff. I WANT MY FRIENDS!!!! So please forgive me for being short on words when I last saw you, I wanted to say so much. This has been the best 5 years of my life because of all of you. I watched so many move before me and thought my time was soo far off and now there is no more denying it, my truck and almost empty apartment are staring me in the face. The teary eyed parting with friends as we are trying to keep it together, knowing that our daily interactions are changing it too much to bare. Moving out here wasn't hard, this move is ripping my heart out.

Green is good....

Even for a second time for me. Justin and I celebrated our 11th Anniversary in NYC. Justin's parents are in town and we all went to Wicked on Broadway. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I think I could see this musical and hear the soundtrack over and over. Justin loved it too. He has two theme songs that are perfect to sum up his residency experience: Defying Gravity and No Good Deed.

A's baptism

Can you believe it??? Seriously. Not only I am in disbelief my baby is now baptized but we just had our last day in our Ward today. I was all cried out before today so I was able to make it through without sobbing or even tearing. I have many dear dear friends that I have made and it is difficult to realize how our daily routines will change. I only have a minute because there is still so much to do. I just wanted to make sure to post these for family and friends that were not able to attend.

Butterfly

M found a butterfly. "Ohhhh it tickles," she giggled as the "zebra butterfly" crawled on her hands and arms. L kept saying "buhfly". So fun. We tried to get the butterfly to crawl on M's shoulder but it wouldn't have it.

Cub Scouts

A has started Cub Scouts and completed his Bobcat badge. We are proud of him. It is so fun to see how excited he is to be a Cub Scout. He is anxious to be a part of the whole thing and help with everything. Hey we will enjoy it as long it lasts. He loves to put his uniform on and carry his book around.

D-Day 64 years ago

A huge thanks to my Grandpa Joe, Justin's Grandpa Price and the many others who served in WWII. Especially to those who gave up their lives to preserve our freedom and liberty. While we didn't intentionally pick this day 11 years ago to get married we have an interest in this day and its history. Next time you meet a veteran of any war, say Thank You!
Justin and I have always wanted to go to the beaches of Normandy on our anniversary. Someday I hope that we will be able to make that a reality.

June 1st???

Are you kidding me???? Well I have been looking through photos, there are so many things I haven't posted, printed or edited. So I will have to do flashback posts. Check out Sarah's blog she posted about our fabulous Murder Mystery dinner we had a while ago and then I will not feel so guilty that I didn't post about it. We had soo much fun and the food was amazing. I just barely got the photos edited and too her. And because it is nearly midnight and cheesecake sounds wonderful I will post about my trip to the cheesecake factory with my friends.
Crystal and I have birthday's just a couple days apart. Jemima took us to The Cheesecake Factory and we got to pick out a decadent slice of cheesecake. We enjoyed them outside. YUMMY! How I got to know these two women was serving in Relief Society presidency with them over the past year. I was released last week as 1st counselor last week. It was hard to give up my favorite calling. I am glad though that I get to keep our friendship. Jemima has been such a breath of fresh air in my life. There aren't any games, she calls it like it is and I love her for it. I have enjoyed the hours upon hours we have spent together. We can always be caught being naughty, lunch at Panera, fabric shopping, finding Disney Pixar diecast Cars, browsing Target or talking for way to long on the phone. She has gotten me excited about food storage. She is an amazing quilter and even taught me how to do paperpiecing and make M a quilt (well it isn't done yet but most of the blocks are done). There is so much more too. Thank you Jemima! I will miss our frequent get togethers but rest assured you will still get the daily phone check in :).

For my birthday all of my family went in on spin shoes for me. WAHOO! So please pardon the sweaty nasty look in the photo I had to try them out immediately and didn't get to shower before our little family celebration. My Mom sent the kids money to buy decorations for my party. The kids bought a bouquet of balloons and the number candles. She wanted to send a party in a box but then thought the kids would have fun picking out stuff. She was right. Thanks MOM!!!
